column::auto() makes columns spacing to wide

Hi,

i recently got a mvp going for my application but some design and align things is still hard for me in egui with eframe.

one of the issues i have is that i dont know what is the best way to fit columns with the data.

• i dont want any wrapping, however its ok if the table needs scrolling sideways to explore more columns
  what is the best way to achieve this?

• one thing about layout aswell is i want to split a TopPanel into two equal parts, so the table only have certain space. right now it takes up more space the more columns is in the table, and the right most content gets squished. (last in the code below

what is the go to way to achieve this? any other tips or resources to learn more about how to lay out widgets would be great.
