this is useful to me sometimes, to click mouse to switch focus while
minibufer is active, because sometimes i need to get something to paste to
minibuffer, and my key for switching focus isn't working while in
minibuffer...

I agree. What would be more useful is to abort the minibuffer when calling a command that uses the minibuffer.

Or setting enable-recursive-minibuffers to true, but would that be confusing...

I wont add this as a default option for now.
