Feature Request

Summary

This is a proposal to add a second mode, next to GNU mode, for emulating the behavior of rm as specified by POSIX. Similar to GNU mode, this mode would change the behavior of existing flags while changing relatively little otherwise. It would be an optional build feature as well.

This proposal is intentionally limited in content as the value of this mode has not yet been established. If you have any interest, insight, or other suggestions please do leave a comment.
