"Open link and comments" feature?

RES has this feature which opens both the Reddit thread and the URL linked to in separate tabs if you click on an "l+c" link. It'd be nice to have this for HNES too.

This is now done with keyboard navigation (j to scroll through links and then b to open both in new tabs). It would be cool to set an option to have it as the default mouse action when clicking on a link, like this extension has (it'd be better to keep it in extension preferences rather than visible though).
