When scrolling horizontally in the directory panes with a touchpad, the scrolling doesn't start until you lift your fingers from the touchpad. This is an upstream issue with nested ScrolledWindows. There is an upstream MR, but it's unlikely to be merged in its current state. Notably it has a simple C test case demonstrating the issue.

Opening this issue so I don't lose track of it.
