Note: the launch checklist has been made obsolete by a brand new Launch Guide: https://github.com/exercism/docs/blob/master/language-tracks/launch/README.md

Let's keep the general discussions around what needs to be done here in this issue, and open new, actionable issues for next steps.

The old checklist was more useful, BTW. Now I have to look all over the place to figure out what I need to do for launch.

Ok, that's good feedback. I'll see if I can rework the launch thing to be a checklist that lives in the docs repo, and which links out to all the context that explains stuff.

Hello. I would like to contribute to this track. I would eventually like of contribute exercises so I thought I would start by undertaking those that already exist. With exercise 3 (hamming) I have seen suspicious behaviour in the unit test harness that I would like to flag up. What would be the best way to do this ? Open an issue here ?

@NewForester:

Hello. I would like to contribute to this track.

Welcome! Now I need to actually finish writing the guidelines for contributors. :)

With exercise 3 (hamming) I have seen suspicious behaviour in the unit test harness that I would like to flag up. What would be the best way to do this ? Open an issue here ?

Of course. Unless the project README says otherwise, you can generally assume that that's the thing to do for projects on GitHub.
