For example:

public String toString(GenomicRegionFormatter formatter) {
        if (formatter == null) {
            return toString();
        }
        return formatter.print(this);
    }

This would allow things like a VcfFormatter/BedFormatter/Gff3Formatter etc... to be supplied.
