I've been having an issue getting my custom post types to show up in the setting of the plugin. So I started trying to debug the issue.
In settings.php, in fields( $fields ) I dropped in a var_dump($post_types) to see what post types it was pulling up. From the output it shows that it's only finding built in post types.
So then I went to my post creation hook.: add_action( 'init', 'create_my_post_types', 0);
I added an echo inside of it, and sure enough, the echo is happening after the var_dump.
Any idea what might be causing this?

Got It working. In class.settings-api.php I changed the priority to 1 on the add_action hooks.
`
public function init()
{
// Register the settings tabs.
add_action( 'admin_init' , array( &$this , 'registerTabs' ), 1 );
