When I use blur in Minecraft and then I look at the video, I see some motion blur, but mostly ghost frames.

from experience this is because OBS had encoding lag while recording the video, thus ending up in having multiple frames being duplicates
play this back in slow-mo and see if it really is as smooth as it looks when played back at realtime
