Creating an installer package is error-prone - we should adjust the make files
to do this so that
others can also build packages

Yes, saw that - good work.

The installer fix for 'nofs.fs' - that only seems to be present on Snow
Leopard, as it's not in my Leopard
installation, and will fail on a Leopard install. I'll raise a new bug.

I've been doing some more work to make this create an installer for both 10.5
and 10.6 systems, but it still needs a bit of sprucing up. For one thing, I
don't know if we need to consider unmounting pools and unloading the kernel
extension before we do it, or whetehr we should just let a reboot take care of
that.

The release script now creates an installer, and in subsequent versions, we
don't even need the fix-nofs since we have adjusted the priority of the
filesystem over the NoFS that Apple ships in 10.6
