I think core-js should be updated as a part of facebook/relay#1109

  Downloading npm:react-relay@0.8.1
  Downloading npm:babel-runtime@5.8.24

  Peer dependency conflict for core-js:
  Currently installed as npm:core-js@2.4.0.
  Package npm:babel-runtime@5.8.24 requires npm:core-js@^1.2.0.

That's up to Relay. Otherwise it should be totally doable to have different versions in use by different libraries, not sure what you're seeing there.

In the mean time #144 will upgrade core-js but I'm going to do that as a 0.9 (not as 0.8.x) so Relay can pick that up when it's shipped.
