It's enough to have two files in the TUI to mess up the display.

Committing with -i the two files separately works fine.

Tested on macOS Ventura using:

→ sl version
Sapling 0.2.20230523-092610+f12b7eee

from homebrew.

For the record #755 seems to improve the situation.
