Hi Gengshan,

Thanks for your great work!

I have a couple of questions about the synthetic datasets (Eagle).

  • How to generate the 120 time-sequence obj from the one-instance model?
  • Is there any motion sequence used?
  • I want to build cat synthetic datasets to evaluate results. Have you ever tried this and held these kinds of datasets?

Hi, we download animated 3D models from the internet or use blender to rig/animate a rest mesh. The mesh sequences are exported from blender as well. There are already large synthetic datasets like this, but I'm not aware public dataset with synthetic cat sequences.

Many thanks for your reply!

Could you tell me how to generate mesh sequences that are exported from blender as you mentioned?

I believe File > Export > Wavefront (.obj) would do. You might also want select Animation and Keep Vertex Order before exporting.
