Plex authentication not working #12
Comments
Looking at the code, the MyPlex module supports passing a Token, and Plex made a post on how an application may request such token: https://forums.plex.tv/t/authenticating-with-plex/609370 Wondering if this might be a better way to handle the authentication. |
+1 - I have 2FA enabled and auth with Plex username. Invitarr installed via docker. Current workaround: https://unraid-guides.com/2021/01/31/how-to-connect-plex-to-apps-that-dont-support-two-factor-authentication-2fa/ Something that can persist container reboots, otherwise I have to re-auth using |
I have TOTP-based 2FA for plex and was able to fix this by using my plex token as the username, and then entering my plex password as normal when prompted. With that, the bot successfully logs in and works like normal, and it has stayed logged in after multiple container/system restarts as well. |
I have 2FA enabled and log into Plex using my Google Account.
Looks like Invitarr doesn't support that currently?
