Description

I would like to have an attribute for users where I can store phone numbers such that I can use webhooks to send notifications to that phone number using external services (e.g. whatsapp, sms, etc.)

Desired Behavior

New attribute for saving phone numbers & ability to use that attribute in creating webhook notifications

Additional Context

I would also like the ability to have a notification service that uses SMS service no notify users about updates/information of their requests.

This was mentioned here in Overseerr.

Unfortunately, this issue was marked as stale as alternative options such as email to text or HTML5 notifications were suggested.

I would like to see the addition of Twilio or other SMS providers integrated and in-turn have a administrator only option to add phone numbers for notifications to the user.

I would also benefit greatly from this. Allowing users to add a phone number or allowing me to manually add them would be great.
