The current documentation for state & config sequence

  • The state message should be sent within 5 seconds
    • If additional processing is required, then the updating flag should be set true.
    • updating should be returned to false (or absent) once the device is done updating.

However there is no updating flag in in the schema for state messages. updating however is one of the valid enums for a point's value_state.

Is the wording above still applicable?
