What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open 'Configure Feed Indicator'
2.'Add New' eg: http://adamneely.com/feed/
3.URL quickly disappears after saving, Indicator list says "Failed:"
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the feed appear in my feed list.
The list only says "Failed:" This is the same for every feed I have attempted to add.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Feedindicator 1.03, Ubuntu 11.04
Please provide any additional information below.
This is my first experience with any feed reader. If I am doing something wrong please
explain how I can correct it.

Hi there,
I think that you might just need to press Enter or click in the whitespace below the
feed list, before clicking Save. Doing that should 'remember' the new item you entered
into the list.
Hope that helps
Hi,
Firstly great reader app, just what I needed.
I seems to be having problems adding feeds as well, like the following feed: http://omgubuntu.disqus.com/synaptic_package_manager_dropped_from_ubuntu_1110/latest.rss
When clicking save, my app hangs and eventually i have to kill it.
I am behind a proxy. Not exactly sure how feed indicator handles proxies.
Version 1.03
Thanks
Albert
Hi there,
I added that feed on my system ok, so it seems it's not a problem with the feed.
Unfortunately I don't know much about proxies at all. The indicator uses feedparser
- http://www.feedparser.org/ - to fetch feeds so there might be something I have to
do to tell it the system is using a proxy.
