Skype can no longer find camera or microphone after last update

Previously audio and video worked, and then the last update seemed to break both. Text still works, but the audio and video devices apparently can no longer be detected in Skype. My host system can detect both of these, so this problem seems isolated to Skype.

This appears to be potentially related to the upgrade, but after trying everything else a restart resolved the issue. Closing.
