Some applications require software with patent or export issues to be built, like Wine when packaging some multimedia games. The default runtime does not provide all of these multimedia libraries like libgstlibav.so. Could it be included in the default runtime, be provided in a separate extension from flathub, or provided only from a third party repository?
Seemingly Fedora is preparing for an official Fedora runtime, and it is likely that codecs with issues may not be included. Therefore a separate third party repository providing codec extensions (like RPM Fusion providing codec RPMs) would be welcomed.
Thank you very much.
