[Idea] Color and icons on graph node #2
Comments
@neokeld thanks for feedback! What do you mean by "when my node is a category"? Today you can already navigate your documents by clicking on the nodes in the graph, and the selected node (active document) will change color -- but I guess this is not what you meant? |
Hi @neokeld! Creator of Markdown Links here. If you have any suggestions regarding the graph visualisation, you can always bringing it up in that repo directly. I am looking forward to changing the default blue color which should be also read from the user's theme, but I don't really get what you mean by categories and what target color would be? |
In the vocabulary of Foam, i have some main bubbles (Markdown documents) that in the end are the main nodes of the graph (i call that a category). It can be a widely used idea or a definition. I would like to highlight these ideas in the graph to quickly see how the graph is organised and where are the main nodes. @tchayen Ok i will open a new issue in Markdown Links |
This is partially addressed. While you can add colors for nodes, you can't filter them by tags (yet). Though it would be a nice idea |
This is now possible |

Hello,
@jevakallio Thanks a lot for this project, i think it is really useful and it is interesting that it is integrated into an IDE. Seeing my notes as a mind map has become essential !
A feature i like to see is color / icons on graph node :
When my node is a category, i want to highlight it (maybe clicking on the node and changing the color).
