I've just switched back to GNOME from Hyprland and I found about tiling WM extensions for the GNOME Shell. I was using Pop Shell but it allowing floating windows below tiled ones (a behavior that I frankly despise) made me do the whole switch to Forge, and so far I'm loving it. But something that has absolutely BAFFLED me is the fact that 99% of the time, when closing a window, the focused window hint remains on screen for a split second before just disappearing. It looks ugly and inconsistent with the animation, and so I stopped using the hint altogether. But I do miss it. Pop Shell has a decent solution to this (I think the hint just disappears before the closing animation starts) but it's just not good to use for me so I thought you could bring it to life in Forge, as it is basically the last element I really have a gripe with.

I want maybe an option to make the window hint disappear before the animation plays (in other words, as soon as the close window command is issued) or maybe even a very very subtle fadeout in order to make it look way more consistent.

I know it is a little silly cosmetic thing and it doesn't really affect the functionality of Forge if it is present or not, maybe I'm too accustomed to the fanciness of Hyprland, but I figured out that opening a request here was worth a shot.

Cheers!

Hi @ardashir77, thanks for the support. I think that can be done. I'll put a need help label in case anyone wants to give it a try.
