Put panache on a swashbuckler who has multiple possible finishers. Select one of them, then remove panache.
When you make your next strike, the RE's behind those finishers will trigger despite the finisher checkbox being disabled - the RollOptions are
This does not seem to affect every finisher though.
I have seen this issue with the Roll Twice RE of the Perfect finisher and with the Note RE of the Confident finisher.
On the other hand, the issue does not occur with the Damage Dice RE of the Bleeding finisher.
From what I can see in the Roll Inspector, the finisher:perfect, finisher:confident and finisher:bleeding Roll Options are present in the attack rolls but not in the damage rolls (which is why there is no problem with the Bleeding finisher)
