System_folder

The system folder (also known as "sysdir") is the path where FreeMiNT looks for all kernel modules, keyboard table and configuration file. Basically, it's working directory for the kernel. The user manual describes the logic behind creation of this system folder. As soon as the system folder is located, being it either /mint or /mint/, the kernel will set environment variable "SYSDIR" which points to this location so you can use it in your shell scripts.
