Hey there,

It seems I cannot use rlel to log me on an Eve account protected by a long password (64 characters long). I get an invalid username/password error. Is that an intrisic limitation of the software ? What length should my password not exceed ? The program works fine with another account with a 17 charaters long password.

Thank you for your help,
Klame

rlel should support passwords of arbitrary length, however CCP has recently changed the login process and so rlel will not be able to successfully log in your account if your IP has not been verified with CCP. (you can do this by logging into any of their web services like the forums).

Unfortunately, I don't actually play eve anymore, so my desire to fix this is somewhat low.

Hey,

Thank you for your answer. As I said I can login on another account from the same computer. I am currently logged on Eve official forums and I still can't log with my long password account through rlel.

Logging in elsewhere definitely doesn't guarantee that you can log in with RLEL.

Also, you get the same error if you haven't accept the EULA/TOS yet. Would probably be good to update for that as well.
