Versioned releases

Is there a plan for versioned releases on GitHub so the bundle can be downloaded from the release page instead of requiring to check out the code from the repository itself?

This will make it more accessible to install this plugin. Kimai's official website forwards the user to the releases page now, where no release is present.

Releases fixed to specific commits make it much easier to manage installations of this plugin in Kimai and it creates confidence when downloading the plugin as a release indicates a stable state of the code.
