Edit module: Edited module remains in app

After editing CS2100 to CS1231, and the app showing a success message, the CS2100 module still appears in the app with its default sections (tasks, lessons, contacts). I wonder if it should still be there, or if it should be removed. May want to consider duplicates too (what if I edit to an already existing module: should that be accepted?)
