I'm currently running into build failures with posix-waitpid on OSX. Is there any objection to making reopt_test optional? Specifically, changing "executable reopt_test" to "test-suite reopt_test"?

I don't object to making reopt_test optional, but are you building against our patched posix-waitpid package? The build script build-sandbox.sh uses it.

I didn't know about the private patched package or the build-sandbox script.

I'll append minor version numbers to the linux-ptrace and posix-waitpid packages, and update reopt to depend on them. That will at least make it clear that there is something more recent than the package on hackage that is needed.

I've also just added our forked linux-ptrace and posix-waitpid to the README. I'm assuming this ticket is done; reopen it if I'm confused.
