Github Wikis have some less obvious properties.

How to search

Search Method 1

As of Nov 2023, the current procedure for searching github wiki is:

Searches must be performed on github.com. (Like the rest of the web, Github wikis have struggled with SEO abuse bots.)
Use the unified search atop any project page (e.g. https://github.com/gambit/gambit )
On the result page, on the left, under click "Filter by", select "wikis".

Results now show only wiki pages
