Probably a ways off, but some kind of built-in weDict linking or other
dictionary functionality would be fantastic.

To look words up now I use Dock to switch (and Books remembers now --
thanks!!) to weDict, type the word in, and when done return via Dock to
Books. Some sort of built-in method that eliminated the typing in step and
using Dock to change apps would be great.

I'm not sure how this could be implimented without being more annoying
than useful -- do other e-readers have this capability? Seems like if
would be fairly trivial to allow selecting and copying a word if Apple
ever decides to include cut and paste functionality...

Before your program I'd never read a book on a handheld (and never missed
it), but now Books is the most used program on my iPhone. Thanks for the
great work.

This is a good idea. I'm not sure what implementing it would entail, but I'll
look into it.

Similar suggestion merged in from #73:

It would be great if you could select a word somehow and use it for a "define:x"
query on google.

I'd like to see this feature implemented too.
The good example is Haali Reader http://haali.cs.msu.ru/pocketpc/ - program for
PocketPC platform. It keeps dictionary text file open in same time with the
main book.
It use search in text functionality to load scroll dictionary text file for
searched
word and show the word and dictionary article then.

I'm looking for similar functionality on other portable devices, the only
platform
which also has such functionality is Palm OS.

I'd like to see dictionary (weDict, maybe) integration -- it's the only one
thing
that is not enough to use iTouch like ebook. Thanks!

Yes, I'll be glad to see such reader-dictionary integration.
