When in full text view, there is no progress bar. Shame, shame. It is
essential.

Shame, shame?!?!  Them's fightin' words!

I actually just put something into SVN which provides a visual of where you are 
when you tap to un-hide the 
toolbars, so I'm going to mark this fixed and it will be in the next release.  
If it's not what you're after, do let me 
know.
