Right now it just includes a link to the snippets repo, but it would be very convenient if it had a quick install of the snippets for snipmate. After all, it's a pretty heavy dependency.

For instance, using bundler it should simply be installed in the .vim/bundle directory ...

If you're fine with moving this issue to vim-snippets close this and follow
honza/vim-snippets#284

I wrote those instructions assuming the vim-snippets repo had instructions of their own, but apparently not! I went ahead and added them anyway.
