Incorrect synonoms

Silvanus and Pityogenes are genera in two different families (Silvanidae and Curculionidae), but for some reason they occurs in GBIF as synonyms? E.g. Silvanus bidentatus is incorrectly synonymized with Pityogenes bidentatus, and Silvanus unidentatus with Ips unidentata (see bugguide.net).
