Does Xee need support for Applescript scripting? Some people think so.

If you do, please post some suggestions for what kind of commands it should
support.

Yes! This would for example make it easier to control Xee with remote control
software such as SofaControl. The
most useful commands would probably be Next, Previous, Start slideshow, Pause
slideshow.

It would be helpful in our situation, which is using Xee primarily as a
cropping/deleting tool from a script. Being able to define a single save &
replace &
advance to next image action would be great.

Yes - workflow script comands - crop, save, save as, replace, delete, next. I
also
use Xee to quickly move through batch of photos -- cropping, saving, renaming,
deleting as I go. Being able to set up a script to, for example, save a file
with a
pre-set appended name (e.g., myphoto-cropped.jpg) would be a big timesaver and
convenience.

Is there any update on xee applescript support? This is a must feature. At a
minimum, just support the basic applescript dictionary, such as window
control/resizing, etc.
