AWS CodeCommit Create IAM Group

- Log into the AWS console with either the root account or an account with full IAM access.
- Navigate to the IAM page.
- Click on Groups in the left nav.
- Click the Create New Group button.
- Enter the group name (e.g. Developers or CodeAccess).
- Click Next Step.
- In the Search box, enter CodeCommit.
- Add a check next to AWSCodeCommitFullAccess or AWSCodeCommitPowerUser.
NOTE: AWSCodeCommitFullAccess allows user to do everything to do with CodeCommit including adding and deleting repositories. AWSCodeCommitPowerUser allows them to do everthing except adding and deleting repositories. - Click Next Step.
- Click Create Group.
- In the IAM Groups list, click on the group you wish to add a user to.
- On the Users tab, click the Add Users to Group button.
- Find the user in the list.
- Add a check in the box next to the user name.
NOTE: You can add multiple users here as well. - Click Add Users.
