Setting WSL 2 Default Profile

  1. Open Windows Terminal and open Settings.
  2. Under profiles/list, note the guid of the profile you wish to be the default.
  3. Copy the guid into the defaultProfile setting.
  4. Save the file.
  5. Close and re-open Windows Terminal. You're preferred profile should now be the default.
