And a small question regarding the older, unstablized versions: When is it ok to remove the older ebuilds? |

@moschlar Hi! When you've filed a stabilisation bug for the version older than the one being stabilised. They have no reason to remain in the tree when a more recent version is stable. |

Also, honoring the comment by @mgorny on #5291, these new ebuilds prune unnecessary .la files (cf. https://devmanual.gentoo.org/eclass-reference/ltprune.eclass/index.html).
