I recently upgraded towards the next major release of the ubuntu family and I noticed that the graphs didn't refresh anymore when they were changed (fit, drop, baseline etc). After upgrading the matplotlib from 3.5.1 to 3.5.3 it worked again so it is maybe better to put the needed version in the dependency tree so these issues are prevented. I also upgraded towards wxPython 4.2.0 without any problem

Had the same issue on my ubuntu 22 machine. Updated matplotlib to 3.5.2 - everything fine afterwards. On my Mac everything is running fine in a conda environment with matplotlib 3.5.1. Will add version specific information to the FAQ section and close this one then.
