Help: Accidental db deletion: Where on my mac hard drive is the database file stored?

I accidentally deleted a whole database — intended to delete just one record.
I want to get the database file back from a recent backup of my Mac. Where on the Mac filesystem is the db file stored (what would it be called)?

I discovered the file is called data.db and stored in the Library directory.
