Operating system or device, Godot version, GPU Model and driver (if graphics related):
Any Godot Version, tested on them all. Even the latest branch.
Issue description:
So this issue is really hard to explain.
Basically, when previewing a scene in the editor or running Godot by the command line "godot -d Main.tscn", there is a delay ONLY on the GTX 950 card.
I tested this on the EXACT same computer with updated drivers for both cards:
i7 7700k, Win 10 Pro 64-bit, RX 480: Previewing the scene = instant
i7 7700k, Win 10 Pro 64-bit, GTX 950: Previewing the scene = takes noticeably longer, example:
I spent all day yesterday messing with this and wondering why the difference is happening. I'm really stumped and don't know why, the only reason why I switched to the GTX 950 is because it plays better with Path of Exile. But then noticed the issue with Godot.
However, previewing scenes in Unity/Atomic and other game engines I have no issue at all with the GTX 950 card. I was thinking maybe the card is just bad for game development

The RX 480 has more than twice as much, thus that kind of equals what the results we are seeing here with the preview lag. I just didn't know the GTX 950 was that bad, because I switched from a RX 480 to a GTX 950 and the game Path of Exile performed better.. which threw me off guard. (Game has immense problems with AMD cards which is why prob)
Also, Atomic Game Engine doesn't lag whatsoever when previewing scenes on the GTX 950 which is odd. Love2D and Godot are the only engines that have that, "1-3 startup lag" on the GTX 950, which I find weird.
Anyway, I think I should close this as I'm obviously not very versed in GFX cards just saw some inconsistences and blamed our beloved, poor Godot friend.. sorry man
