So I have a Raspberry Pi 2 and Raspberry Pi 4 .
I followed driver installation steps on Raspberry pi 2 (Raspian OS)
After the reboot, My LCD was displaying white screen,
But i noticed that my touch was working and the display was on HDMI monitor, however the resolution was reduced of HDMI ,
I have a 3.5 inch LCD TFT similar to this http://www.lcdwiki.com/3.5inch_RPi_Display

Basically, Screen is displaying on HDMI monitor instead of LCD but , the touch was working
Sorry, something went wrong.
Same issue, but my screen is completely black.
Disconnect the monitor and restart your system
The driver turns the touch screen into a touch pad if there is a HDMI connection
