While the latest tag is convenient for getting started, it comes with some downsides, which are well documented elsewhere. The release infrastructure for cAdvisor recently moved to disallow updating tags, which makes the maintenance of the latest tag impossible.

The :latest tag is now just an alias for v0.34.0, and will not be updated anymore.
