Logo Burn-In for photos and videos

The Overlays Logo Burn-In function is really nice, but it works only for videos. For my use case, as a commercial paraglider tandem pilot, it would be really useful when the Burn-In is valid at the same time for photos and videos within one scan of the QR-code.

Have you considering just using metadata? Burn-ins are destructive, as they modify the image. Also burn-ins are limited to lower resolution and lower frame rates, and as you found, not on photos. Scan something $Jump=21389 or $Gest="Joe Bloggs", these are retrievable from all video and all photos. Sample code on reading metadata https://gopro.github.io/labs/control/metadata/
