How not to lose rendered content after closing or dismissing of BottomSheet?

My BottomSheet contains a FlatList, and it is being re-rendered every time the BottomSheet is called up. This action always takes some time. Is there any way to persist the render of the BottomSheet content and make the app more reactive?

I should set the prop enableDismissOnClose of BottomSheetModal to false and use close/expand methods instead of dismiss/present
