  • Accessable from new panel menu (UI Usability Brainstorming & Ease of use, Panel edit menu #770 (comment))
  • Share modal (fast, no fade in)
  • Default Url is current time range, selected panel
  • The url input field is focused and url is selected when the modal opens (there is no javascript api to copy to clipboard)
  • Options to change link to be for the whole dashboard (removes the panel id),
  • Image option for graphite users (will show image, and copy-able url to png)

Current WIP:

Oh, and before someone points it out I have fixed the spelling of embed (Embedd in the above screenshot).

Really looking forward to this feature. Sharing individual panels is very critical in discussing/diagnosing production issues.

This is indeed a very powerful feature! I've often been frustrated for the inability to share a specific panel. The workaround has been to make it a Graphite PNG and share that link instead. Not the prettiest solution :-(

Totally on board. This would be great to have to allow embedding panels into other apps!

Will close this for now. Embed (iframe panel) will have to wait for next release.

@toni-moreno well I have plans to have a special single panel view which could be used to inject a iframe of a single grafana panel on another web page. There are no plans of a "iframe panel" that allows you to inject an iframe of another website as a panel in grafana.

Please drop us a link to the embed feature to track progress. Thank you.

I agree, the "embed feature" would be really awesome!
Is there any plan for this feature? Thanks in advance.
