Research web analytics options

Though I don't believe analytics should be built into the starter kit (as it is often resource intensive and violates peoples privacy) I do think it is a very useful tool which is often useful.

I would like to provide simple recommendations on how to add privacy respecting and low impact analytics.

To achieve that I would like to research into available analytics options and find viable options which do not use a lot of resources and respect visitors privacy.

1 month free SimpleAnalytics which I've happily used for years, and they tout their own lightweight credentials. Probs best to avoid using their AI plugin.
