Failed to load external module @babel/register #2073
Comments
I believe this is a dupe of #1631, but before comments get locked I'll add that I too think this warning should be clarified or removed. The term "failed", logged in red, to me implies "error", and I personally just don't find the subsequent "Requiring external module babel-core/register" log line to be a clear and unmistakable indication that it's not. Furthermore, I first saw this warning appear after an upgrade that simultaneously caused the build to fail for another reason, and in that instance this message acted as a red herring. |
I do not have this prompt in the current computer, and another computer has installed a dependency and still has a hint. I tried to return the 3.9.0 version to solve this problem. But the current computer is 3.9.1, but it doesn't prompt this message. I tried to install three other computers with hints. Can I ignore it? What is the reason for it? Thank you very much. |
@ianbrandt please open an issue on the gulp-cli with that suggestion so we can discuss further. A PR would be welcome over there also. |
@lipis duplicate of gulpjs/gulp-cli#142 |

I met this hint, but it could run normally. It's all right in my computer, and when I run a project on other computers, he will prompt that. I've already installed the dependency. Why would you remind me of this
