To be able to answer that, I need some more inputs:

• What exactly are you trying to translate? The editor texts, the content, the static text displayed when viewing the timeline or something else?
• Are you using H5P on a multi-language site, or do you have a single non-english language (Finnish)?

Please elaborate, and I will try to give you a solution :)

I have a single, finnish language site and I'm trying to translate all of the text. :)
Specifically:

1. the back-end editor text, eg. "Headline", "Body Text", descriptions etc.
2. the remaining text from viewing the timeline, eg. "Expand timeline", "Return to title" etc.

For 1) The translation of the editor texts are part of the H5P, and we need the community to translate the texts to their languages. If you could translate the texts in the following file: https://github.com/h5p/h5p-timeline/blob/master/language/fi.json to finnish, I will publish a new version of the Timeline H5P with this language-file included. If you know github, it's easiest if you do it using a "pull request".

For 2) I have made an option in the Timeline H5P to select the user interface language. Just download the latest vertsion from h5p.org.

I found that you authored also the image hotspots content type. Can you make me a translatable fi.json to that as well?

I have merged the Finnish language into timeline. Only found a small syntax problem which I fixed. I have made a new version of timeline with this file included (available on http://h5p.org/timeline).

I have also added a Finnish language file to the Image Hotspots content type: https://github.com/h5p/h5p-image-hotspots/blob/master/language/fi.json
