• Hack night recaps.
• One-time event recaps.
• Upcoming events - more frequently than our monthly newsletter.
• Calls for resources (SaMo space, SouthLA space, volunteers for events)
• Feature projects, a la CodeForPhilly:

@matikin9 now that our site will be hosted here in gh-pages using Jeykll (what originally started as a blogging platform) - this blog feature could be easier to implement directly in the site. On the other hand, we have the Medium site setup.

Do we want to pursue blogging on hackforla.org? Abandon the idea altogether? Or maybe just keep it on the pile but not focus on it until other work happens?

@thekaveman Keep it on the pile but no need to focus on it now, especially since we don't have anyone creating content for a blog yet. There's pros/cons to both, I'm not super opinionated either way.

My vote is for medium. I strongly support using social platforms with built-in audiences for blogging, or really anything...web2. Content is of little value without an audience. Medium, and linked shortened content from IG/FB/T provide that audience effectively and capitalize on organic boosts through readers' networks when we garner likes/shares on those platforms.
