To give some historical context the extensions were meant to become the main focus of Hashie, and the classes e.g. I still think that'd be the cleanest idea, so if it works, it's probably a good idea. |

Very specifically about this change - it looks like the implementation in Hashie::HashExtensions doesn't do anything because those conversion methods are already defined, so what I deleted isn't even called, despite trying very hard :) I couldn't write a test that would behave differently before/after this PR. Can you please spend a few minutes looking through the changes and merge if you think this is correct? I could definitely be missing something. Thx. |

Trying to dig up why we have a different implementation of StringifyKeys for a Hashie::Hash, a non-recursive one. I removed it in this PR and no specs have failed.
Reorganized files a bit to make things clearer.
Don't merge, investigating.
