We have haddocks lying around that mention fusion. Example:

bytestring/Data/ByteString/Lazy/Char8.hs

Line 392 in 416b719

-- reduced values from the left. This function will fuse.

But fusion is not a thing since a long time ago. We should remove these misleading comments.
